What you'll do: As a WHS Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health, and wellbeing of all staff members. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and implementing WHS policies, conducting risk assessments, providing advice on WHS matters, promoting a culture of safety within the organisation, coordinating training sessions, monitoring compliance with legislation, investigating incidents, and preparing reports. Your commitment to safety and your ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
Developing and implementing WHS policies and proceduresConducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazardsProviding advice on WHS matters to staff and managementPromoting a culture of safety within the organisationCoordinating WHS training sessions for staffMonitoring compliance with WHS legislation and organisational policiesInvestigating incidents and accidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actionsPreparing reports on WHS performanceWhat you bring: The ideal candidate for the WHS Advisor position brings proven experience in a similar role along with an in-depth understanding of WHS legislation and best practices. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to provide clear advice on complex issues while your strong problem-solving abilities will help you identify practical solutions.
