Multiple Federal Government Opportunities in Sydney – Open to Work in Other States
Initial 3-month contract with possibility of extension
APS5 from $54 per hour + Super
APS6 from $60 per hour + Super
Our client is seeking multiple
APS5 Support Officers
and
APS6 WHS Advisors
across multiple locations to join their Health, Safety & Wellbeing Branch.
APS5 Support Officer:
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience managing a high administration workload in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to respond to queries clearly and professionally.
High attention to detail and strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of WHS principles is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn and adapt to WHS requirements is key.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a busy administrative environment.
APS6 WHS Advisor:
The Senior Work Health Safety Advisor will be responsible for providing expert WHS advice, developing safety management frameworks, and implementing safety programs.
Formal qualifications in Work Health Safety (minimum Certificate IV).
Experience in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and WHS compliance.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritise workload, and work autonomously.
Sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to make informed decisions based on data and evidence.
