Job Description The Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned WH&S professional to join our People & Culture (P&C) team as a Safety & Wellbeing Manager. Reporting to the Performance & People Relations Lead, this is an initial 6-9 month contract, with the flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia for the right person.
As the Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will be accountable for developing and implementing a revised robust workplace health and safety framework that drives high performance and aligns with our organisational values. You will provide expert leadership in work health and safety and wellbeing to all levels of staff and Leaders across Australia and New Zealand.
What will your typical week look like? Develop, implement, and monitor safety and wellbeing policies, procedures, and programs that support: Planning & Governance; Incident Management; Injury & Illness Management; Communication & Consultation; Health & Wellbeing Support & Training; & First Aid Response.Develop and implement systems, processes and information that enables the effective implementation of the Safety and Wellbeing Framework and FY25 Operating plan.Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.Design and promote employee wellbeing programs, change management initiatives including mental health, physical fitness, and work-life balance initiatives.Let's talk about you! The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
