The division employs more than 3600 team members.About the role:Join our team as a key player in the Sydney Fulfillment Centre (SFC), one of the largest assets within the Wesfarmers Health Division. In partnership with the Centre Manager, you will oversee P&L management and drive the commercial success of SFC on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.This role requires a proactive problem solver who can work independently and influence stakeholders effectively. You'll foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, while enhancing the team's commercial acumen. Your ability to provide timely and actionable insights will be crucial in supporting informed decision-making and driving performance. If you're ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!Key responsibilities:Commercial Business Partnering:Serve as the trusted commercial advisor to the SFC Manager, Leadership Team, and Head of DC Operations, providing valuable insights to the GM Supply Chain.Lead and develop financial models for key commercial projects, focusing on efficiency initiatives within the SFC.Collaborate with the Wesfarmers Health Transformation Team to integrate initiatives into the division-wide transformation program ("Accelerate") and monitor their success.Trade Performance & Insights:Manage the development of a weekly and monthly P&L review and management process to enhance the commercial success of the Distribution Centre, and drive accountability of the financial results.Produce Board-ready reports with thorough analysis and sound assumptions, and regularly distribute trade performance packs.Clearly communicate business performance insights to the Leadership Team.Collaborate with the broader Commercial team to create an integrated perspective on business performance.Track changes in key performance indicators, and drive a strong understanding of their drivers across the DC.What you'll bring:Education & Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.CA/CPA certification.Skills & Experience:Over 10 years in fast-paced commercial finance roles, particularly in supply chain and distribution centres.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and sound business judgment.Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, driving change and enhancing financial processes.Experience in finance business partnering, effectively influencing stakeholders at all levels.Expertise in aligning objectives through key business metrics and performance tracking mechanisms.Extensive experience in finance and management accounting, with strong technical, analytical, and financial modelling skills.Skilled in developing performance metrics and financial analyses that inform decision-making and enhance business performance.Strong analytical mindset, offering insightful financial tools and frameworks for timely decision-making.Critical thinker with robust cross-functional problem-solving abilities and a curious approach.Familiarity with large ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., SAP, BPC, MicroStrategy, PowerBI).Why us?A fantastic work culture based off our four Ways of Working - Start with the customer, Do it with heart, Work as a team, Own your impact.Flexible working that is balanced with our organisational need to create connections and enable collaboration.Ongoing professional development and career opportunities across the Wesfarmers Health Division and the broader Wesfarmers Group.Access to employee benefits across Wesfarmers including team member discounts at Bunnings, Kmart, Target, Officeworks, OnePass, Priceline and Clear Skincare Clinics.'We Love Your Work' recognition program.
