We are looking for an experienced Accountant ready to advance into a Managerial role in the near future. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in Australian Public Practice.

Position Summary: As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities, including preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements, and delivering quality, accurate outcomes. Your role will also involve learning how to mentor and lead your own team.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. Train junior accountants, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. Stay current on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and share knowledge with the team. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Skills and Experience: In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Proven track record in workflow management and meeting client deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience servicing a diverse client base. Proficiency in accounting software, especially Xero. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. High level of integrity and professionalism. Your application will include the following questions:
