Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities: Manage accounts/transactions for multiple venues/entitiesBank Reconciliations/Cash flow managementAccounts PayableBAS and PAYG reportingPayroll TaxSupport for payroll during leaveRelationship building and management, internally and externallyMaintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements and compliance.Develop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing/maintaining a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.Maintain general ledger by transferring inter entity account transactions.Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends.Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.Ensure integration of other systems used within the business with XeroCollaborating with the internal and external accountantsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Bookkeeper Qualifications / Skills: Developing StandardsAnalysing InformationDealing with ComplexityCommunicationData Entry SkillsAccountingAttention to DetailConfidentialityThoroughnessTeam PlayerEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: 5 years previous bookkeeping experience a mustExperience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellasXero experience is preferredSystems integration experience is preferredWork Hours & Benefits: Night owl is a flexible employer with working locations across Perth.
