Welders

Our client, EDMS Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company providing a diverse, complementary range of engineering, fabrication and site construction services to Sugar, Agriculture, Defence, Marine, Resource, Renewable Energy, Tourism and the Industrial sectors.
Established in December 2005, the company has consistently grown to be a robust engineering company through re-investing in and developing the facilities and people's capabilities.
They are looking for Welders to join the team and work locally with the project and maintenance crews.
Job Description: a. Undertake metal trade construction & maintenance in the
workshop;
b. General boilermaking duties including the use of: grinder,
cutting, welding (GMAW, TIG, Stick), polishing, Cropping,
Pressing, Heat Treatment and Stress Relieving of Steels;
c. Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner;
d. Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification
requirements and that any documentation is completed on
time;
e. Completing works to specified drawings;
f. Ensure safe operating and procedural manuals are adhered
to;
g. Ensure that the workshop, tools, and equipment under the
control of the employee are well maintained and in good
operational condition;
h. Assist in the training and supervision of apprentices;
i. Participate in all Pre-Starts, Toolbox Talks, JSA's and other
Safety related activities;
j. Refresh and complete all relevant training, required for site
and workshop works.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year
