About the role This position is a full time role in the Water and Sewer Operations team based at the Kianga Sewage Treatment Plant.
Your main duties will include: Carrying out water and sewer construction and asset maintenance activities in accordance with detailed designs, procedures and relevant standards.
Collecting and recording work activity data to ensure accurate asset, asset history and customer service records are maintained.
Providing assistance to the Water Headworks and Sewage Treatment sections and all other Water and Sewer Senior Operators, Operators and Assistant Operators when required.
Salary information Total remuneration for the role is in the range $2,593.04 to $2,794.97 gross per fortnight consisting of: $2,287.76 to $2,468.86 base salary $37.84 Adverse Working Conditions allowance $267.44 to $288.27 superannuation (calculated at 11.5%) When required by Council, participation in an on call roster is part of this position.
An allowance is paid when on call.

About you Our Water and Sewer Operations team are searching for a hard-working individual to assist with maintaining the water supply and sewer systems across the Eurobodalla Shire.
It will be your responsibility to carry out relevant maintenance and operational activities and ensure the protection of public and environmental health.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following: Certificate III in Water Operations or an equivalent qualification (or willingness and ability to obtain with Council assistance).
Experience in water and/or sewer operations, maintenance and/or construction.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
