THE ROLE
This role is to ensure value-adding and effective delivery of People & Culture (P&C) services at Warramunda to improve operational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE
Develop and implement strategies in consultation to attract, develop, and retain employees. Support managers to improve their people management capability and culture. Review and redevelop the organizational training and development plan in line with strategic objectives. Work on strategic projects, including policy development, reporting, and systems implementation. Demonstrate high quality Industrial and Employee Relations knowledge. Oversee the EA renewal process. Oversee Payroll. Change Management and Process Improvement. Provide innovative HR solutions and thought leadership to ensure the long and short-term objectives of the business are met. Coach, challenge, and advise the leadership team to ensure business/people objectives are met. Build management capability and assist in the development of a future talent pipeline aligned to future business strategy. Assist in the discernment of future business strategy in relation to people-focused objectives. Provide strategic and commercial advice to the CEO/MD and Executive team in line with strategic objectives across a broad range of employment relations and business functions. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
A minimum of five years' experience in a senior human resource management position. Proven ability to successfully develop and implement P&C strategies, processes, and policies. Degree qualified in HR Management, Industrial Relations, or equivalent. Excellent problem-solving ability for high-level complexity issues and the ability to make appropriate decisions. A high level of verbal, written, and listening communication skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to influence others appropriately. Experience in managing teams. IT skills – intermediate level of skill across all packages of Office, Word, and Excel, online recruitment, and HRIS packages. Expertise in stakeholder engagement; ability to influence and collaborate diplomatically and independently. A deep understanding of employee and industrial relations, Modern Awards, and enterprise agreements. Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team, operating at a senior executive level. Membership of/or Eligibility for membership to the Australian Human Resources Institute at the MAHRI level or above. Demonstrable success at managing risk across the business. Desirable
Experience in Aged Care, health, or not-for-profit sector. Postgraduate qualifications in HR Management. Experience in managing Rosters and Rostering systems. Current First Aid and CPR certificates. Accredited Mental Health First Aider. HOW TO APPLY
