What you'll be doing As an Operations Manager at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly.
You will manage, develop and grow customer relations for the site as well as manage current employee welfare and satisfaction.
Use your talents to lead a committed team to greatness and drive the future of logistics, using the latest technology Manage and control operations for the customer, ensuring a safe working environment coupled with cost effective operational activities Instill, drive, and manage a safety first culture by promoting and auditing safe work practices and training measures which create a safe operating environment and results in the prevention of unsafe conditions and the elimination of accidents.
Ensuring Customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery supporting Build and maintain positive relationships with customer and stakeholders, both internal and external Maintain location and inventory accuracy and increase productivity streams Employees and performance management Ensure customer's annual business plan including revenue, profit and service levels are met and correct action is taken to rectify potential incidents We're keen to hear from people who have the following skills and experience: Extensive experience in Distribution Centre Management ideally gained from within a 3PL environment 3+ years' managing teams with strong leadership experience Exceptional end to end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities A passion for health & safety with tangible experience of improving the safety culture on site Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders Outstanding customer relationship attributes and a strong customer service focus Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills Strong experience with WMS - ideally SAP or Manhattan systems
