Due to our continued growth and the strengthening of industry partnerships, this is a newly appointed role to oversee the distribution, transportation, and warehouse operations across our two sites.

Warehouse and Logistics Manager: The ideal candidate will have: a best practice logistics vision to improve operational performance and the deployment of company safety and procedural policies.
Operational Responsibilities:
Supervise the operations of warehouse personnel to ensure the operational process is within the time schedule. Oversee and monitor the regulation of work to ensure proper workload distribution and operations are in compliance with work standards and OH&S standards. Ensure integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements by identifying and resolving discrepancies and keeping track of slow moving and obsolete stock. Oversee the hiring, orienting, and training of warehouse employees to ensure a competent workforce. Review personnel performance to increase team performance and development. Participate in operational and strategic issues with other departments such as Quality, manufacturing process, from Sales and supply chain involvement. Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers and recommend optimal transport modes, routes, or frequency to meet cost requirements. Attributes:
Proven experience as a manager in a Manufacturing or logistics environment. Solutions focused - proven ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs or priorities. Effective communication and consultation skills with a broad range of internal stakeholders. Attention to detail, follow through, and ability to manage competing priorities.
