Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients.
NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.

Our Outpatient's department is looking for a ward clerk to provide outstanding customer care to patients and their families. This is a great role for experienced and patient care focused individuals who are wanting to achieve a dynamic career in Healthcare.
Our Outpatients Department at Northern Beaches Hospital is looking for a friendly experienced staff member for a part-time position (2 days pw). With the ability to flex up to cover leave if required.
As a Ward Clerk your responsibilities will include:
providing patient-centred customer service including: greet all customershandle enquires with a friendly and professional mannermaintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records,liase with medical staffliaison with other areas of the hospital,management of patient electronic records ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.Essential Criteria:
• experience in an acute patient focused healthcare facility/hospital,
• highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments,
• good computer literacy & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel),
• a track record of providing great service and customer experience,
• strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills,
• ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
