The role of the Payroll and Finance Officer is responsible for:
Administering the end-to-end payroll function for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring salaries, superannuation, and PAYE are processed in a timely and accurate manner.Calculating and managing performance variable pay (bonuses) and provisions.Maintaining the FBT records and reports and assisting in the annual lodgment.Managing a variety of payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations.Ensuring timely tax and statutory lodgment including payroll tax returns, workers compensation, and employee-related insurances.Providing support to the Human Resources Manager in a variety of ad-hoc tasks as they arise including report preparation and data entry, coordinating onboarding training sessions, and supporting the recruitment process.Administering the staff expense claim process via our Concur Expense platform and SAP system.Managing the staff fleet and Amex Card processes.Assisting with end-of-month and end-of-year processes and budget processes.Backing up when required for Finance team members' duties.Strong attention to detail and highly effective communication skills are essential along with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and have a proactive approach.At BIOTRONIK, we pride ourselves on our ability to have long-lasting positive impacts on our patients.

Qualifications and Experience Candidates with the below experiences and qualifications are considered ideal for this role:
Previous experience in managing payroll (desirable with Sage Micropay).Previous experience in payroll tax lodgment.Previous experience in assisting with end-of-month/end-of-year payroll accruals and provisions.Previous experience working in a SAP ERP environment.Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge including advanced Excel.Your application will include the following questions:
