About the role Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Ward Clerk on a full-time basis to support our busy Bariatric ward, Monday to Friday.

Your duties will include Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality, directing them to the appropriate personnel as needed.Provide administrative support to the Nurse Unit Manager, including scheduling, correspondence, and coordination of meetings.Assist Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and patient care.Accurately record and maintain patient data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.Prepare and process all discharge paperwork, ensuring patients receive all necessary documentation promptly.Able to adjust to changing priorities and work environments with ease.Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.Reliable and responsible, taking ownership of tasks and outcomes.Capable of working independently and making informed decisions.Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Knowledge of medical terminology and WebPAS is an advantage.To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
