Highlighting the importance of this role We currently have an exciting opportunity for Personal Care Workers with Medication Competent certs, to join our team at Stanthorpe Aged Care Service on a Permanent Part time basis.
In this role you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents and assisting them in daily living activities that meet their individual physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs. Working Part time per fortnight, your availability will require you to work a mixture of mornings, afternoons, nights and overnights, including weekends.
During your varied day you will: Provide personal care and physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living;Participate in the development and review of resident/client care plans; complete charting and report any observed changes to resident health to the Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse;Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensure that all interaction with residents and their representatives are treated confidentially;Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment;Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by Registered/Enrolled Nurse.What you can bring to the team You have a compassionate nature and love being around and caring for seniors. Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:
