The Opportunity

Our Administration Services team at Brisbane Private Hospital have a new opportunity for an experienced Ward Clerk to join our Damascus Unit.

Working with the clinical team we are seeking a full-time team member who will be accountable for providing admin support on a busy ward to assist our doctors, nursing staff and allied health professionals.

The successful applicant will have exceptional customer service skills, flexibility and an empathic approach.
Key functions include:
Greeting patients and other visitorsLiaising with other professionalsPreparation of patient files, appointment lists and coordination with other ward clerks to obtain ward patient filesMedical record filingProviding clerical support to the clinical teamEssential Criteria Previous experience in Ward Clerk positionExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsGood oral and written communication skillsWell organised, able to prioritise, plan ahead and work under pressureExperience with medical terminologyExperience with Webpas Medical SystemApplications close: 3rd January, 2025
