Fixed Term Part Time – 64 hours per fortnight September 2024 until November 2025 (secondment backfill) Managers & Admin Officers Grade 1A (HS1A) We are looking for a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Ward Clerk in the Maternity & Gynaecology Unit. This role requires a strong focus on patient liaison and reception support to the Maternity & Gynaecology team. The position will include a range of computer work including data entry and electronic diary and patient management, reception duties and clerical duties as assigned, and filing, report generation and distribution. We have a fixed term position available of up to 64 hours per fortnight to cover staff on secondment until November 2025.
REQUIREMENTS Sound knowledge of office procedures and reception skills Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills Keyboard skills and data entry experience Solid computer skills, with proficiency in the usage of Microsoft Office products. Experienced in the use of IPM, Oracle and hospital database systems. Capacity to undertake training in new patient management programs Capability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to confidentiality requirements of the organisation Experience in the use of VINAH would be considered advantageous. IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully vaccinated (3 doses) for COVID-19 and influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
