We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team around Central Coast or Newcastle on a full-time basis.
How you'll be making an impact in people's lives: Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes What you'll bring to the role: Australian recognised degree qualifications & registration in Psychology/Provisional Psychology or Rehab Counselling (AHPRA / ASORC) Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers Willingness to work in the community (must have drivers licence and access to own vehicle) Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance What we offer you: Truly flexible working, in the community, from home and the office – you set your schedule Learn and be mentored from a multi-award-winning team!
