Koorana Child & Family Services is looking for Volunteers to help our Supported Playgroups Team!
About the Role You will be working in collaboration with our team in running indoor and outdoor supported playgroups in and across the Bankstown and Canterbury Local Government Areas.
During the day, you will help set up the area which includes lifting and moving equipment from the van, such as children's tables, chairs, mats, and boxes of toys and equipment, ensuring WHS requirements are adhered to.
During the playgroup session, you will engage with the children and parents/carers by participating in play activities, promoting early learning, and assisting our team in supporting parents and carers in their parenting role.
As a Volunteer you will receive: Induction to Koorana.Child Protection Training.Regular support from the team.About KooranaWe are a community-based children's organisation, working with all children, committed to the provision of high-quality early childhood education, intervention, and family support services across Sydney in ways that acknowledge and respect all individuals.
