We are currently seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded Volunteer Services Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in the growth, transformation, and development of our volunteer programs.
What you'll do: Evolving the strategic vision for volunteer engagement, with a focus on business partnering, program development, and expanding our volunteer base.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify volunteer needs, align them with organisational goals, and design volunteer programs to meet those needs.Recruit, train, and onboard volunteers, ensuring they are well-equipped to fulfill their roles effectively and have a positive experience.Establish and maintain relationships with external organisations, community groups, and educational institutions to attract new volunteers and build partnerships.Create and execute innovative strategies to engage, motivate, and retain volunteers, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment.Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers, serving as their primary point of contact for questions, concerns, and feedback.Regularly evaluate volunteer programs, collecting data and feedback to measure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote volunteer opportunities through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and community events.Stay updated on best practices and trends in volunteer management, seeking opportunities for professional development and implementing new ideas.Demonstrate passion for the organisation's mission and values, with a genuine interest in volunteerism and community engagement.You will need: Formal qualifications in human services, management, or equivalent.Proven experience in the development, management, and implementation of volunteering programs within human service organisations.Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Proven ability to work well in a team.Impeccable attention to detail and a high focus on accuracy.A satisfactory Police Check for working with vulnerable groups less than 12 months at commencement.If you want to join our amazing team, we can offer you: Career development with inhouse upskilling and external learning opportunitiesFriendly and inclusive culture, supporting diversity and employee wellbeingFinancial advice for HESTA members, our preferred superannuation supplierWellbeing program including free employee assistance programRecognition program acknowledging significant contributions Salary packaging to maximise your take home payDiscounted Corporate Membership – Health Insurance – BUPAHow to Apply: For a confidential discussion regarding this position, please contact Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner, Rachael Pitman, on 0427 295 325 or simply apply now!
