VIC - Project Manager (Telecommunications) As a Project Manager (Telecommunications) at Lightning Broadband , you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality telecommunications projects. This full-time position will see you managing the end-to-end delivery of complex telecommunications initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and lead meetings among project stakeholders Liaise with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities Handle administrative tasks for Project Director to keep the project running smoothly Ensure projects are delivered according to defined scope and budget Identify, assess project risks, issues, and dependencies, and provide solutions where applicable Coordinate and negotiate quotations for projects Ensure project information data is current (i.e., project status and schedule updates) and document project activities into project management technology tools Manage internal and external project stakeholders (e.g., builders, electrical contractors, external contractors, service consultants, developers, suppliers, etc.) Provide clear communication of project status and performance to stakeholders, providing regular updates and escalating concerns as required Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and efficiencies Provide support to other team members as mutually agreed and as required Conduct site inspections and documentation What we're looking for Proven track record of successfully managing complex telecommunications projects from initiation to completion Excellent project management skills/project planning expertise, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams Excellent organizational and leadership skills with telecommunications knowledge Proficient in the use of project management tools and methodologies Thorough understanding of telecommunications industry standards, regulations, and best practices Demonstrated working knowledge & experience in using AUTOCAD Ability to work with minimal supervision Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience Targets & KPI's Include On-time and on-budget delivery of projects Process improvements Recognizing process deficiencies and implementing effective solutions Qualifications Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field Valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience What we offer At Lightning Broadband, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
