At Swinburne, we are committed to student-focused learning and are seeking a dedicated VET Casual Teacher, Advanced Construction Technology to help shape the future of our students in the 21st century.
This role will deliver units from our current Building and Construction Training Packages CPC40120 and CPC50220.
The requirement is to predominantly carry out teaching and assessment duties within these programs, on campus, online (or online live), hybrid and in workplaces (face-to-face).
In this role, you'll have the chance to inspire, engage, and educate learners using industry-leading practices and cutting-edge learning technologies.
Additionally, you will collaborate with a team of educational professionals to plan, deliver, assess, and evaluate top-tier education and training programs.
Your expertise will be crucial in customising and adapting programs to meet the diverse needs of our learners, ranging from certificate courses to diplomas and associate degrees.

About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: Current building and construction industry experience of at least 3 years.
Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, reflecting an understanding of successful approaches to Building and Construction teaching Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients Current and extensive technical knowledge of the building and construction industry legislations and planning requirements Current and extensive technical knowledge of the building and construction industry contracts, tender process, estimating and project management For the full list of required skills and experience, please see the Position Description.
