Verge Mowing

An exciting opportunity with a local council in the Northern Suburbs looking for verge mowing staff to join their current team. 

About You:
Current drivers license and reliable transport (unrestricted)
MR Drivers Licence (Desirable)
Current White Card
Must reside in Australia to apply
Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test

Qualifications (Desirable):
Chainsaw Certification
Front End Loader licence
Skid steer licence
Forklift licence
Roller Licence
Excavator Licence
Grader Licence
Backhoe Licence

Knowledge, Skills & Experience 
Demonstrated ability and experience in operating front deck mowers and other medium plant and equipment relevant to the position, including holding the appropriate licence.
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills together with initiative and resourcefulness including experience in forward work planning, prioritising and meeting multiple demands and deadlines in an operational work environment.
Good interpersonal skills including the capacity to establish and maintain effective relationships with work colleagues, deal professionally with the public and work effectively
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

The right candidates will meet selection criteria based on previous experience, pass an OH&S assessment & skills testing.
Medical screening may also form part of the recruitment process.
A minimum of two (2) contactable, work related referees must be supplied in order to be considered for this position
