Fixed term until Dec 2025 Led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic), the Division of Academic and Student Engagement provides leadership in achieving the University's strategic goals, particularly in relation to learning and teaching, including the provision of a quality student experience across the University. Fundamental to the role of the Division is the development of educational frameworks and policies that support the University's strategic goals and provides Faculties and other areas guidance and support in achieving them.
The Senior Project Coordinator will provide operational project management and support during the establishment and delivery of Divisional initiatives. This includes taking an active role in the development of project plans and timelines, providing advice to project sponsors, owners and key stakeholders, and writing detailed and high-level reports.
Working under limited direction, the Senior Project Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of complex projects that will require high-level organisational and time management skills as well as an ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
To be successful you will need: Demonstrated project coordination experience with proven ability to independently manage new and ongoing projects. Demonstrated ability to analyse complex information and develop detailed recommendations and solutions, and experience in collating detailed and high-level reports. High-level interpersonal and professional communication skills with the aptitude to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and staff at all levels, including the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders and executives. Excellent organisational skills with a high level of data literacy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and sustain high-level performance, determine priorities, be highly flexible and meet demanding deadlines in a time-sensitive environment. Proven capacity to manage competing objectives and ability to act with discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
