Responsibilities The V.I.E. Structured Finance Analyst will primarily support the origination and execution activities across a broad range of structured finance transactions, particularly within the Real Estate sector in the Australian market. He/She will have the opportunity to build close relationships with the teams onshore and within the organization more broadly on a regional and global basis. The candidate will also work with other business lines within Financing & Advisory such as Infrastructure, Digital, Energy, and Batteries & Mining. Main responsibilities will include:
Financial modelling including analyzing financial scenarios and producing sensitivity analysis.Providing support in all aspects of the credit process including preparation of credit applications, due diligence, and assistance with utilization of internal models.Managing other internal processes relating to financing & advisory transactions e.g. updating databases, briefing notes, completing internal system-based processes.Supporting ongoing portfolio management and gathering of client information.Contributing to the identification of potential new business opportunities and assisting with preparation of research and marketing materials.Respecting all relevant compliance practices and other internal requirements in relation to the execution of financing & advisory transactions.Profile Required PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship. Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Law or a professional financial qualification.
• A previous experience in Finance would be appreciated.
Language skills:
• Fluent in English and in French (B2-C1).
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proven analytical skills, numerical skills, and understanding of financial statements, cashflow, and financial modelling skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial issues to less financially literate stakeholders.
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
This VIE in Australia is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
