PIMS Group is an experienced underground mining contractor specialising in underground coal projects. About the Role!
Reporting to the Production Superintendent and Mine Manager as an integral part of the team, the primary purpose of this role is to drive operational excellence, safety culture and maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement of the Maxwell Bord and Pillar Underground Operation. The successful candidate will have a high level of problem solving skills!
The minimum skills and expectations for this role are but not limited to: Currently hold a First or Second-Class Certificate of Competency or Mutual Recognition;Ability to comply with the Safety Health Management System, Coal Mining Legislation and all relevant statutory requirements;Possess a strong work ethic with a great attendance record;Comply with site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations to ensure effective and safe use of equipment;Have the ability to define and communicate performance goals and provide regular and objective feedback on performance;Have a strong leadership ability and be able to problem solve complex situations as they arise;Demonstrated Underground Coal experience in a similar role.Benefits of Working at PIMS Group
