ABOUT THE ROLE As the Underground Lead Mine Surveyor, you will manage the site's survey activities, ensuring they align with NGF standards and legislative guidelines. This role emphasises the uniformity of spatial data handling, from collection and analysis to management, across the entire site.
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS Ensure that all survey plans are developed based on current information/data. Ensure that all survey information is conveyed to the key stakeholders in a concise, readable format. Ensure that all survey data is stored and maintained as per NGF standards and legislative requirements. Identify business improvement opportunities for operations. Ensure surveys are completed on an accurate and timely basis. Maintain check surveys to an acceptable standard. Liaise with other departments to satisfy their needs. Attend daily production meetings to meet mine requirements. Any other duties as required. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Over 8 years' experience as a Mine Surveyor with exposure to underground mining. Recognised Tertiary Degree in Surveying. Grade 1 Authorisation from the Department of Minerals and Energy as a Mine Surveyor, WA. BENEFITS Permanent full-time role with immediate start. Excellent remuneration package with additional allowances. Receive $12k residential allowance per annum, if you are residential and not FIFO. Receive up to $5k site allowance per annum, depending on your site location. A fully covered family private health insurance through GU Health Complete Gold Cover or allowance up to $5k. Receive up to 15% short-term incentive payment (STIP) of your base salary. Receive $2.4k allowance to put towards your choice of Death and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance. Pro-rata long service leave (LSL) after just 5 years of service and be entitled to 13 weeks paid LSL after 10 years of service.
