They're inquisitive, pioneering industry firsts, and pushing new ideas to deliver exceptional outcomes.This passion and expertise creates an employee experience that puts wellbeing, flexibility, and opportunity first.Come join us.The roleAs a key member of the Group Finance team, the Trust Accountant is primarily responsible for mandate accounting, reporting, and tax compliance.What you will be doingPreparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Preparing and recording monthly head trust accrual journal entries.Performing checks over the trial balances.Calculating quarterly management fees.Preparing quarterly distribution calculations.Drafting accounting treatment memos.Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements.Preparing the half-yearly statement of taxable income and annual tax returns.Reviewing monthly BAS workings.Raising purchase orders for head trust expenses and service receipting.What makes you stand outWe are seeking a finance professional who is currently CA or CPA qualified/has commenced their CA/CPA.Prior accounting experience (Big 4 would be a huge plus!) is required, and an understanding of the property/funds management sector will be held in high regard.
