Job Description Make everyone's day by pushing a trolley with all kinds of sweet treats around to residents who are living with dementia in our aged care home in Daw Park. You'll bring joy to each of our residents every time you enter the room.
Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
Requirements The commitment is one hour per week/fortnight for a minimum of 6 months. We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time during the week (Monday to Friday) between 9am-4pm.
• 18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check.
