About the Role This role reports into the Director of Partnerships as part of the SOFEA Business Innovation Directorate's core functions and will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, increasing our reach and effectively communicating our mission to corporate partners, funders, internal stakeholders and the communities with whom SOFEA works. The Director of Partnerships oversees the marketing and communication for SOFEA and is responsible for ensuring that the strategy for marketing and communications for SOFEA is delivered efficiently and effectively.

Experience will ideally include: A degree level qualification, or equivalent, in marketing, media or similar.Experience in developing communication and outreach strategies.Familiarity with customer relationship management systems and processes.Experience in developing and implementing new marketing/comms systems and processes.Experience of developing social strategies and content.Experience in developing, creating, editing and publishing of social content, including short and long form video content.Experience of design apps such as Canva.Experience in working with PR and media.Experience in creating and developing video content strategy. Roles and Responsibilities Support the Director of Partnerships to create and enact the Marketing and Social Media Strategy.Organise and create marketing content for all social media platforms with support from Heads of Departments (HODS).Support with the development of the BID team's CRM.Develop and support with all email marketing campaigns and scheduling.Develop and create SOFEA's video content and library.Support with the development and creation of all marketing materials.Develop and maintain the organisation's content for social and marketing purposes.Support with all internal and external networking events.Attend external networking events as and when required.Maintain and develop the website and enhance the organisation's SEO.Responsibilities: Manage and maintain all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to ensure consistent and engaging content that aligns with our values and brand, including the Community Larders.Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote events, fundraising initiatives, and awareness campaigns.Create and curate compelling, shareable content including graphics, videos and written posts that resonate with our target audience.Monitor social media trends, interactions and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print and events.Collaborate with the BID team to brainstorm and develop innovative strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.Maintain and update the WordPress website, ensuring content remains current, relevant and engaging.Implement basic SEO practices to optimise website content for search engines and improve organic visibility.Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters and promotional materials.Monitor and respond to online inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.Stay up to date with industry trends, digital marketing advancements and best practices to continually improve our online presence.Adhere to GDPR and SOFEA's Safeguarding and Privacy Policy whilst representing SOFEA and engaging in marketing activities.Qualifications: Ideally have a degree level or equivalent Certificate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Previous experience in managing social media accounts for a nonprofit, charity, or other relevant organisation is preferred.Experience of management and implementation of CRMs.Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.Proficient in graphic design tools such as Canva, with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) being a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.Experience with WordPress and basic knowledge of SEO principles.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.Passion for the nonprofit sector and a genuine interest in contributing to social causes.
