The Assistant Manager, Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for supporting signal based marketing strategies and delivering key initiatives to drive organic growth and increases in customer engagement. This role will manage the day to day development and execution of marketing campaigns via owned and paid assets with a focus on email triggers and optimising communications.
How will you make an impact in this role? Reporting to the Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, the successful candidate will work on delivery of marketing programs encompassing campaign development and delivery across digital channels. They will also ensure delivery of reporting and data driven insights to continually improve and optimise. The successful applicant will partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance the performance of our marketing campaigns.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a diverse, fast-paced team, focused on building the future of American Express through innovating Card Member value and increasing Card Member engagement.
Key responsibilities include: Management of Lifecycle Marketing program via owning and developing marketing communications for a variety of channels and placements Support and execute an integrated signal-based and personalised marketing strategy, including delivering a program of relevant and thoughtful communications, test and learn, enhanced segmentation and targeting, and channel enhancement. Partner effectively with Product and Membership Marketing teams to deliver best in class programs and deliver business results Project management of new capability development and back-end system enhancement to drive improved channel performance Track campaign effectiveness and overall results against benchmarks to optimise and enhance campaigns as required Lead, develop and manage a digital marketing professional Liaise with external creative agencies to ensure quality of work and on time delivery of creative assets Required Qualifications Marketing / business tertiary qualifications in Marketing Digital Marketing and campaign management experience Superior Project management skills - proficient at time management and campaign co-ordination Superior multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritise effectively Solution-oriented individual with superior analytical, creative and problem solving skills Strong communicator with experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships Ability to drive results and innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic and complex environment Relationship management skills including demonstrated ability to develop long-term partnerships and influence internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth Must be a team player and customer advocate Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
