Join Our Transitional Care Program as a Physiotherapist
The TCP Physiotherapist brings clinical expertise and a blend of generalist and specialist knowledge to deliver a comprehensive range of restorative and re-enablement services tailored to community needs. Operating with greater autonomy, this role also offers the opportunity to mentor and supervise less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students.
As part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, you will engage with various health professionals and service providers, employing a holistic approach that includes preventative care, early intervention, therapy, care planning, and evaluation. This encompasses individual therapy, group programs, health promotion, and community development projects.
You'll have the chance to serve diverse communities in the Eyre & Far North LHN, including Port Lincoln, Tumby Bay, and Cummins, while also potentially supporting additional regional areas like Elliston, Streaky Bay, and Ceduna as needed. Join us in making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of these vibrant communities!
Key Responsibilities:

Use professional expertise to develop generalist and specialist knowledge, enhancing clinical skills to serve clients in complex situations.
Apply professional judgment to select and adapt established methods and techniques.
Provide diverse clinical and consultative services in individual, group, and health promotion settings.
Manage personal workload and assist others in developing workload plans and resource allocation.

What We're Looking For:

Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant allied health profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Professional Association.
A strong background in physiotherapy with both generalist and specialist knowledge.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while seeking guidance when needed.
A dedication to continuous learning and professional growth, including participation in mandatory and additional training.
Skills in reflective practice, with the ability to mentor others in developing these skills.
Experience working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and supporting colleagues at various levels.
Potential to provide leadership and facilitate training opportunities within the network.
Enthusiasm for research, service evaluation, and sharing insights through professional networks and publications.
A passion for making a positive impact on community health and well-being.
