THE ROLE The Transactions and Delivery Project Lead manages a collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to social housing for Victorians, including as part of the Big Housing Build initiative and the Social Housing Growth Fund.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships including the Department of Treasury & Finance and the community housing sector.Work closely with other Government agencies to ensure that policies can be enacted across Homes Victoria initiatives.Lead planning and implementation of community housing sector funding programs.
This is achieved through leading a team of Project Managers to effectively oversee the full life cycle of social and affordable housing projects to meet departmental objectives including:Researching, preparing and executing programs and plans within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.Preparing and managing tender and evaluation processes.Leading negotiations with successful proponents and the execution of contractual documents.Leading the monitoring and evaluation of contracted projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.A strong delivery focus, working with project managers, multidisciplinary teams and community housing organisations to resolve funded project challenges so new homes are delivered on time and within budget.COVID-19 VACCINATION The department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advice, given their individual circumstances.
As of June 2023, DFFH does not require evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
