About the Role As an Assistant to the Sourcing Lead, this role is pivotal in selecting the best suppliers to ensure optimal product costs, short lead times (LT), and low minimum order quantities (MOQ).
Responsibilities include managing style costing and data maintenance within the Bob System, overseeing supplier onboarding in Apex Pro, conducting stock revaluations, and sourcing buy-in products.
This position requires effective collaboration with suppliers, stakeholders, and finance teams to maintain data accuracy and support the company's procurement goals.
What you'll be doing Liaise with Suppliers for Cost Management: Engage with suppliers to obtain accurate costing information.
Collaborate with the sourcing lead to negotiate the best possible costs, shortest lead times, and lowest minimum order quantities (MOQs).Cost Management - Oversee and manage costs within the Bob System, ensuring all cost data is accurately recorded and updated.Continuously update the costings in the Range Plan to reflect any changes or adjustments.
Ensure that all cost updates are accurately documented and justified.Maintain detailed records of the reasons for any price fluctuations.
Analyze and report on the factors contributing to cost changes.Manage the registration of new styles and the maintenance of style data within the Bob system.
Ensure that all style information is up-to-date and accurately recorded.Set up and maintain fabric attributes, contract pricing, and price codes within the Bob system.
Regularly review and update data to ensure accuracy and consistency.Evaluate and onboard new suppliers following the WWG onboarding process.
Handle the reboarding of existing suppliers when necessary, and maintain comprehensive records of all supplier data.Liaise with relevant stakeholders during the onboarding of new suppliers and comply with annual process auditing requirements.Perform stock revaluations as required, typically twice a year.
Collaborate with stakeholders and provide the final data upload to Finance.Actively source buy-in supply products to meet tender and client requirements.
Finalise pricing with suppliers, manage supplier data maintenance, and make recommendations to sales on buy-in products.Who we're looking for At our company, we value not only our great brands but also the people and teams that drive our success.
