NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is an Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer. Located southwest of Townsville, the Pajingo mine is around 50km from Charters Towers and currently employs around 250 people to run the underground mining and ore processing operations.Pajingo Gold Mine is currently seeking a Training Coordinator / Paramedic on a permanent 2/2 roster either FIFO or DIDO. Meals and Accommodation Provided.The Training Coordinator / Paramedic will assist in the coordination and execution of all aspects of mine site emergency response, including the provision of Industrial Medical Services and emergency response team training.About the role:Assist in developing, implementing, reviewing, and facilitating all aspects of emergency response systems on site.Ensure all emergency response equipment is in place, always maintained, and ready for use.Assist in the development and delivery of ERT training as directed by HST Superintendent.Provide first aid and Industrial Medic services as required.Maintain drug register in accordance with Poisons permit and QLD Health Acts.Administer S4 & S8 as required by company protocols and relevant Acts and Regulations.Manage Medical Centre supplies and ensure critical compliance with relevant statutory requirements.Assist with health promotion initiatives.Develop and maintain a working relationship with line managers, to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge, resources, advice, and support to deliver a consistent safety message.Support the HST Superintendent to develop and maintain business relationships with relevant regulatory bodies for reporting on, and governance of, safety and health matters.About you:Qualified Ambulance Paramedic qualifications or approved equivalent.APHRA Certification - RN encouraged to apply.Must have Emergency Response underground experience.Minimum 2 years experience as a Paramedic or Training Coordinator working in a similar role within the mining industry.Formal qualification in drug and alcohol testing.Culture and Benefits:With a strong growth strategy in place in a progressive, vibrant culture where your skills can truly make a difference, this is a great opportunity to join the growing Safety team at our Pajingo operations and to play a role in developing a culture of excellence that motivates and inspires those around you.Please Note: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must have the right to work and reside in Australia.If you feel you have the skills, qualifications, and experience necessary, you can apply now by clicking on the APPLY button.
