As a school-based physiotherapist, you can influence a child's development, develop your paediatric skills while being mentored by your local and state-wide professional team.

Positions are being offered in the Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, and Bundaberg areas in a permanent, full-time or part-time capacity.

About the Role: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support students to achieve their potential using evidence-based contemporary physiotherapy knowledge and frameworks to assist schools in identifying and making reasonable adjustments and implementing inclusive teaching strategies.Collaborate and liaise with school leaders and teachers to assess barriers to student learning and participation and develop and implement physiotherapy services across schools.Participate as an active member in education teams within schools to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based contemporary physiotherapy services to enhance learning outcomes for students with disabilities.Monitor and assess physiotherapy services provided across schools, in consultation with the supervising physiotherapist, to ensure that they improve student access and participation in education.Develop and implement best-practice assessment, program planning, intervention, and monitoring strategies for students with disabilities.Provide consultative physiotherapy services and resources to assist school leaders and staff, parents, and other professional peers to develop knowledge and skills to support students with disabilities.Prepare written reports and maintain records related to the delivery of physiotherapy services as required by the department.Actively participate in professional development activities and clinical supervision to improve and ensure high-quality services are delivered based on contemporary best practice.About you: Passionate about inclusionValues strong professional relationshipsSolutions-focusedPlease refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
