We are seeking a seasoned Training and Development Specialist for a contract up to 30th June 2025, who excels in designing innovative training programs that meet the evolving needs of our projects and teams.

As a Training and Development Specialist, you will support the team in designing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive training programs tailored to support our diverse projects (4 projects running simultaneously).
Collaborating closely with the training manager, project managers, business analysts, and change management teams, you'll identify training needs, develop engaging materials, and facilitate impactful training sessions.

Conduct Training Needs Assessments: Work alongside change managers and stakeholders to pinpoint skill gaps and areas for enhancement, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Innovative Delivery Methods: Utilise blended learning modalities, webinars, and interactive sessions to ensure knowledge is easily transferred to the workplace.
Facilitate Training Sessions: Lead workshops, webinars, and on-the-job training, adapting your approach to maximize engagement and effectiveness.
Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Gather feedback and analyse performance metrics to continuously improve training offerings.
Collaboration & Communication: Partner with project managers and HR to ensure training initiatives align with project goals and address organisational needs.
Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest trends in training and development to maintain the highest quality in your programs.
What We're Looking For: Experience: A minimum of 2 years in training and development, particularly within project-based environments, demonstrating your ability to work in complex settings with multiple dependencies.
Pragmatic Approach: Proven skills in unpacking traditional methods and finding innovative solutions to enhance training delivery.
Critical Design Skills: Proficient in designing impactful learning experiences and adapting to changing project requirements.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to connect with diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative training atmosphere.
Creativity: A knack for designing engaging training programs that captivate and empower learners.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business Management, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
Current Open Driver's Licence.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Current Working with Children Check.
NDIS Worker Orientation certificate completed.
