Training and Development Officer | Hughenden Type: Permanent Ref: BBBH4615 Training and Development Officer Full-time, Permanent Local Government Role Flexible work options negotiable The Opportunity This position contributes to the development of a strong learning culture by designing, developing and delivering engaging training programs and people initiatives. This position collaborates across Council to identify current and required competencies, capabilities and skills and creates targeted learning solutions that support employee growth and the achievement of Council's strategic objectives.
About You Extensive experience in training and development or a similar role Proven expertise in creating, implementing, and delivering training needs analysis, learning and development plans, and face-to-face training sessions Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to consult, liaise, influence, and provide advice and education Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities effectively Excellent oral and written communication skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service Comprehensive knowledge, or the ability to acquire knowledge, of Council processes, policies, and systems Proficient in operating computer systems, including HRIS and the MS Office Suite Ability to work independently with support from management Current Driver's Licence To Apply
