Payroll Officer - Brisbane Salary: $90k - $100k + Super
Location: 5 days in office
Are you a seasoned Payroll professional ready for your next career move in Brisbane? Core Talent is partnering with a dynamic company to find an experienced Payroll Officer and Accounts All-Rounder to support their continued growth.
Key Responsibilities: - Accurately set up and maintain employee card files and information in Xero and other registers.
- Process weekly & fortnightly payroll, including timesheet checks against rosters, data entry of approved timesheets, and managing employee deductions and reimbursements.
- Raise invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with A/P and A/R duties.
- Provide ad-hoc assistance with compliance reporting and various reconciliations, including bank and credit card accounts.
- Support general office asks and accounting functions as needed.
What You'll Bring: - Prior experience in payroll and finance, including invoicing, A/P, and A/R functions.
- Strong knowledge of Xero (or similar) and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- High-speed, accurate data entry with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus.
- Understanding of Award terms and conditions would be an advantage.
- Friendly, engaging, and confident with the ability to work independently.
