Training and Development CoordinatorAbout the Role:Situated at Alcoa's Pinjarra Refinery in the Peel region, the Training and Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Learning and Development team. Collaborating with all employees across site, the role encompasses:Preparing and implementing the annual training and development plan for the Operating Centre in alignment with Pinjarra's training and development strategy.Completing month-end reporting for site.Facilitating Crew Trainer meetings across site.General administrative tasks linked with the role, such as data entry and record maintenance.Improving and maintaining Standard Work Instructions (SWI's) and procedural documentation for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the process and equipment to meet the Quality Accreditation System requirements.Ensuring Learning Management System records are updated, current and accurate to effectively report on the progression of training and development.Providing advice and coordination of activities related to the implementation of new equipment or processes, and the safety training and induction of employees working in the area.Conducting Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments on mobile equipment machines.Keeping abreast of relevant State and Federal legislation relevant to the role.What can you bring to the role:Knowledge and experience in the safe use of a wide range of maintenance tools and maintenance processes.Hold a Certificate IV Trainer and Assessor qualification.Preferably hold relevant Worksafe Licences – LF, WP, DG, RI, CN, C6.Possess computer literacy, with an advanced understanding of tasks such as report writing, updating of documents (such as SWI's) and general administration duties.Effectively communicate and cooperate with a variety of stakeholders across different levels of the business.Apply your strong emotional intelligence to foster positive interactions with a diverse range of employees and influence outcomes.Have at least 5 years' experience within the resources sector.Applications closeThursday, 18 July 2024
