Our HOSEPOWER team in Brisbane seeks a reliable, honest and motivated Trade & Warehouse Assistant who can help our Warehouse team look after our walk-in customers with their hydraulic requirements and help handle all aspects of the warehouse. We seek someone who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and who wants to learn about hydraulic hose assembly.
This position would suit someone who has some experience in the fields of mechanics, hydraulics, diesel mechanics or similar trades, but does not need to be fully qualified. The primary role would include liaising with customers and suppliers, stock control, stock ordering, data entry and assisting our mobile hydraulic hose team.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Counter sales & service Taking phone calls Stock control & ordering Liaising with suppliers to meet customers' demands Drive efficiency and customer service in all operations. Build and maintain professional and service-oriented relationships with customers & staff. Support our mobile hydraulic hose team. The successful applicant will possess: Proven experience and reliability in a similar position A high level of customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-critical environment. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. A highly organised and structured approach to the task and outcome-focused Mechanical or Hydraulic experience desirable, not essential We highly value our staff. Staff members who demonstrate desired skills and abilities will progress in hourly rate quite quickly.
