The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to join our Consumer Healthcare team on a 12-month contract. This role will lead and execute the Consumer Healthcare Trade Marketing strategy, bringing to life iNova Consumer brands in-store and across key shopper touchpoints. The Trade Marketing Manager will ensure flawless translation of the Brand & Account strategies & priorities into our in-store execution.

Key Accountabilities Include: Deliver Best in Class Point of Sale (POS) Solutions: Clearly define the visibility priorities and key shopper touchpoints by brand. Work in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing teams to define and deliver the optimal POS suite for each brand in line with Cycle objectives and key retailer activations on time and within budget. Ensure alignment of in-store activations with brand strategic priorities and objectives. Align with Marketing on the annual Trade Marketing budget for all CHC brands. Oversee the budget by issuing all purchase orders (POs) and phasing it on a monthly basis to ensure precise financial tracking and adherence to established financial targets. Work with Field team representatives to ensure optimal performance of POS materials – size, functionality, build time and impact. Apply sustainability focus to production and distribution of POS materials. Stay up to date with POS novel solutions and innovation. Actively seek cost-efficiencies for production across iNova POS suite. Liaise with the NZ team on a monthly basis to align marketing materials and explore potential cost savings or efficiencies. Lead In-Store Initiatives for Major Innovation Launches & Winter Sell-in. Plan and lead the in-store launch programs for major innovation launches and winter brands in conjunction with Sales and Marketing. Develop compelling selling tools for the field team to achieve sales and distribution objectives including sales aids, incentives and customer engagement programs. Manage the overall end-to-end process of consumer promotions. Oversee the promotion from concept initiation, including briefing agencies, securing terms and conditions and permits, and obtaining medical and legal approvals. Coordinate the rollout of point-of-sale materials and engage with the field team. Implement field incentive programs, manage the campaign through to completion, and conduct post-launch reviews to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Shopper Marketing: Work in collaboration with Marketing to translate key brand messages into impactful shopper messaging that can be used across in-store programs. Lead Shopper Research projects and develop in-store strategies and executions based on research and brand & category insights. Work in collaboration with Category, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop optimal POG layouts for key category reviews, off-location activity, and the introduction of new lines, using the POG software system Symphony. Lead Major Customer-Specific In-Store Solutions. Lead the strategy and implementation of the Grocery pre-pack program, including aligning on brand focus, SKU mix, and creation. Manage stock availability and repacking with the Supply Chain team and reworker, design and produce pre-pack materials with the POS agency, and ensure timely delivery to customers. Additionally, raise all change controls, manage GS1 approvals, oversee GTIN distribution, and obtain customer approvals. Work with both Grocery and Pharmacy NAM/KAM teams to develop customer-specific in-store solutions with major banner groups, including shopper navigation solutions, permanent and temporary display items, gondola end executions, themed events, and promotions. Manage all in-store point of sale solutions for Coles 360 and Cartology for all brands in the Grocery channel, while aligning with the Account Manager and Digital team to ensure effective omnichannel execution. Act as a conduit between Sales and Assistant Buyers, providing support with product guides, in-store activations, and assisting the third-party field team in Emerging Channels. Support Emerging Channels by assisting with future product proposals, particularly for Costco, which requires bespoke packaging solutions. Manage major Grocery and Pharmacy trade shows, conferences, and expos by organising sampling, coordinating artwork creation for banners, and handling other promotional materials to ensure effective brand presence. Launch Support. About You To be successful in this role you will possess previous experience in marketing of FMCG or Pharmaceutical OTC within Australia, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Trade Marketing or Brand Management role with strong exposure to Trade Marketing.

Other Key Requirements For This Role Include: Relevant degree qualification – Business, Marketing or Communications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Sharepoint. Experience with scan data preferred. Previous team management experience ideal. This position will have some requirements to work outside what would be considered business working hours (e.g. weekend or evening meetings/tasks) and some inter-state travel is required, e.g. Sales conferences, customer meetings, field visits etc.
