Job Title : Trade assistant to support Irrigator Assembly Location : Chermside, Brisbane QLD Are you hands-on and ready to build quality products?
Join a leading manufacturer supplying metal and plastic products to the irrigation, mining, and civil sectors across Australia!
Hourly Pay: $35 + per hour + Overtime Work Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Early finish on Fridays: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM PPE Requirements: Steel cap boots.
Long cotton drill pants (no denim).
Long-sleeved Hi-vis shirt with reflective stripes.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble irrigator products by selecting and preparing materials.
Conduct product inspections, testing, and quality checks.
Follow work orders, schedules, and industry standards to ensure quality output.
Prepare products for dispatch, including packaging and labelling.
Operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders) to complete general assembly tasks.
Maintain clean, safe, and organised workspaces.
What We're Looking For: Experience with general assembly and using hand/power tools is essential.
Experience in manufacturing or mechanical trades is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.
Willingness to learn—on-the-job training will be provided.
