Exciting opportunity to join SA's iconic RAA Insurance in the Total Loss Claims Team
Showcase your Insurance Claims experience in a growing organisation
Permanent, Full-time role based at Mile End, WFH flexibility after probation
Due to internal movements, a fabulous opportunity has become available for an experienced Claims Officer to case manage end to end total loss claims, including procurement of replacement vehicles and sale of salvage.
This exciting role will involve you processing claims within the RAA Insurance claims area within established guidelines, efficiently and professionally in order to achieve the fair and equitable settlement of claims whilst providing an exceptional level of member service. You will also:
Deliver exceptional and professional service to members and internal/external customers by identifying, responding to, and satisfying their needs
Negotiate settlements for claims within appropriate authority limits and procedures
Identify possible fraudulent matters and consult with Management on recommended actions to be taken in accordance with the Insurance Contracts Act and the company fraud policy.
Process claims payments and associated administration
Able to achieve set KPI's and quality targets consistently

At RAA we hire on cultural fit first and technical fit second. However, to be successful in the role you will need to have:
Motor or similar claims experience is preferred
Outstanding attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
A positive can-do attitude and team ethos
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders
Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice, The Australian Privacy Principles, Dispute resolution process and legislative requirements arising from the relevant acts.
Working knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act and other relevant applicable Acts.
