Clinical Lead, Psychosocial Wellbeing

Clinical Lead, Psychosocial Wellbeing
Company:

Australian Psychological Society Limited

Details of the offer

Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team undertaking EAP and RTW counselling, pre-employment assessments, workplace training, critical incident response, and onsite services.
Ensure quality and governance in clinical practices, driving continuous improvement across the Psychosocial Wellbeing team.
Provide clinical supervision monthly.
Develop the team with training to foster a contemporary approach to practice.
Build and manage key relationships with major EAP contracts, acting as the face of CHG in vital partnerships.
Offer internal expertise to support tender and proposal development.
While you'll maintain a clinical load, your primary focus will be on short-term interventions such as Critical Incident response and Manager Assist services.
This role is perfect for a psychologist who enjoys variety, independence, and the opportunity to guide a high-performing team. Based in our Mile End clinic—complete with free parking, a gym, and a hydrotherapy pool—you'll also have the flexibility to be located in Elizabeth or Gillman if preferred.
About CHG:
With three clinics across Adelaide, CHG offers an opportunity to make a difference to people's working lives. CHG focuses on improving well-being, preventing injury, increasing health and safety awareness, and restoring and maintaining health. The integration of CHG's broad scope of services provides employers with a unique, holistic, and integrated approach.
CHG provides a range of services including pre-employment assessments, immediate response to trauma, ongoing provision of primary health care services, injury management, prevention services, allied health treatment, psychology services, and health promotion initiatives (including exercise physiology), physical and vocational rehabilitation.
CHG lives out our values of Respect, Excellence, Loyalty, Integrity, and Collaboration. When working at CHG, you must be prepared to contribute and work within the true spirit of teamwork, and in return, you will be afforded an environment that focuses on persistence in the face of obstacles, respects everyone's strengths and talents, and aims to exceed customer expectations.
Skills and Experience:
Unconditional AHPRA registration as a psychologist and eligibility for a WWCC is required, as well as the ability to successfully undertake various Police Checks and other clearances as required by our clients. Recognition as an AHPRA approved supervisor would be highly advantageous. Your contemporary approach will be critical to your success.
You will have extensive experience in the delivery of 1:1 clinical services; exposure to the role of a psychologist in the Return To Work (RTW) environment is desirable. Experience in leading and motivating a team of clinicians is not critical; however, you must be able to demonstrate your desire to take this step in your career.
This role can be full-time, with the balance of hours made up by your own clinical load, or part-time, focusing primarily on the Clinical Lead activities with a more limited clinical load.
Ready to make an impact?
If this sounds like the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you! Apply now by submitting a cover letter (no more than two pages) and resume . We review applications on a rolling basis, so don't wait.
