What are we looking for? Slater and Gordon are seeking an experienced Head of Pricing and Commercial Finance to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our commercial and pricing strategies and ensuring our business and transformational objectives are met. Your expertise in commercial finance and pricing will be crucial in driving our transformational objectives and building strategic partnerships.
As a key member of the senior leadership group, you will collaborate with various departments to align activities with our overall goals. You will analyse commercial trends, drive key commercial metrics, develop alternative pricing and discounting models, and provide leadership to inspire and manage your team effectively. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is a full time permanent opportunity. We offer flexible work options between home and office, and we are open to candidates being located in either Melbourne or Sydney.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Create and execute commercial transformation and pricing strategies that align with the company's transformational objectives. Identify new commercial opportunities to drive business growth. Monitor and model pricing and commercial trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Monitor financial performance and develop pricing and discounting strategies. Lead and inspire an internal team to meet performance standards, ensure compliance to policies and procedures and reduce costs. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers. Collaborate with other departments (both legal and shared services) to ensure cohesive commercial strategy execution. What will you bring? Demonstrated experience in a commercial and finance leadership position. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Excellent strategic planning and organisational skills. Ability to model and analyse data and financial reports. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Experience in developing and implementing commercial and pricing strategies.
