Requirements Defence Science & Technology Group (DSTG) is the Australian Government's lead agency dedicated to providing science and technology support for the country's defence and security needs. Within DSTG, the Research Technology and Operations Division (RTO) delivers specialist capabilities to Defence Innovation Science and Technology (IS&T). Within RTO, Digital Science and Scientific Computing (DSSC) provides digital capabilities to support researchers. DSSC is seeking the services of 2 x Organisational Change Management (OCM) resources with suitable skills and experience to address the following:
Resource 1: The Organisational Change Manager (OCM) Lead will work with Shared Service Liaison (SSL) within DSSC to establish a Centre of Excellence for Organisational Change Management Practices and Processes. The OCM Lead will play a critical role in establishing a robust and sustainable approach to change management within the DSSC, ensuring that change is implemented efficiently, with minimal disruption, and maximum benefit to the organisation and its employees.
The OCM Lead will be responsible for developing a framework that will support the successful adoption of change initiatives across the organisation. This role will focus on developing and embedding effective change management strategies, practices, and processes to ensure smooth transitions during transformations, system upgrades, and other business changes. The OCM Lead will work collaboratively with senior leadership, project teams, and employees to ensure change initiatives are well planned, communicated, and executed, minimising disruption and maximising engagement and adoption.
