Testing & Quality Assurance (Information & Communication Technology)
Tell me about this role:
We are currently looking for a NV1 Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be conducting T&E activities for cutting edge Defence cyber technologies. A strong testing background in Defence, along with Systems Engineering and Cyber knowledge will see you be successful in this role.

What will I be doing day to day?
Prepare Test Scripts, Test Plans, Test Reports, Failure and Analysis Reports
Define testing requirements verification strategy, propose verification scenarios
Ensure that Test Plans and Test Procedures are prepared, reviewed and approved
Prepare reports on the status of verification activities
Plan and implement the equipment and facilities to perform the Test Procedures
Analyse verification results and transmit them to development teams
Support the T&E Manager with the reporting responsibilities to management and other stakeholders
What sort of skills do I need?
Relevant qualifications in computer science, technology, IT or related professional experience
Experience in operational testing of Linux based systems, infrastructure, gateways and networks
Administration & Testing experience on HP Application Life Cycle Management Tool or JIRA Test Tool
Administration & operating experience of VMWare VSphere ESXi, VRealize Automation, VRealize Orchestration and Horizon
Understanding of (Defence) Capability Life Cycle management and Engineering Management System
Qualifications in Agile Project Management, Systems Engineering or Cyber Security desirable
Australian citizenship and an NV1 security clearance as a minimum
