With this in mind, if you feel that you may not tick all of the boxes below but believe you have something unique to contribute to our team, we strongly encourage you to apply - let's have the conversation.We are now seeking aMining Engineerto join our Underground Mining team based at theTropicana Gold Mine.Accountable to the Alternate Underground Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of broken ore stocks by producing drill designs and blast plans.This is a permanent FIFO role 8 days /6 off with direct flights from either Perth or Kalgoorlie.Accountabilities:Be an active safety leader in line with the company values, policies and proceduresCollaborate with contracting partners to ensure compliance to the mining planComplete stope drill designs, charge plans and reconciliations in line with the business requirementsEnsure production excellence by participating in QAQC activities for blastingComplete slot raising designs, remote plans and void management plans in line with site proceduresShow active field leadership through regular underground inspectionsProvide mentorship for graduatesTake lead in business objectives and projectsEnsure the health and safety of underground workers through detailed and accurate technical plans in line with the WHS Act and Regulations.About YouPeople are at the heart of everything we do.
