Role & responsibilities A telecommunications tower rigger is a professional who has been trained and certified to handle and move loads on antenna supporting structures. Their primary responsibilities include:
Telecommunication tower and equipment installation, upkeep and repairs Tower Climbing and Big-Structure Rigging RF (Radio Frequency) Equipment Knowledge: Installation of Related Equipment: Key duties, but not limited to: Installation, Labelling, weatherproofing, and troubleshooting 4G / 5G Remote Radio units (RRUs) and Coaxial feeder systems/ Hybrid trunk cables (DC and Optical Cables) Installation of Antennas, Microwave dishes and other components of Rooftops and Towers Installation and upgrade of existing towers steelwork to support new equipment Collection, analysis, verification of all installation, artefacts, including Optical test results, feeder and antenna system tests, photographs, reports, serial nos, and As-Builts. Supporting Technicians and fellow riggers to delivery Sites in a safe and timely manner Requirements: High-Risk Work License – Dogging / Basic Rigging, Elevated Work Platform Working at Heights Perform Tower Rescue Min. 2 years experience as a Rigger / Dogman in a telecommunications environment or similar Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools English requirements IELTS 5 in each band

Must have completed at least 5 years of full-time study in at least a secondary level institution (ie high school or higher education) and where most classes were in English. We need the following information:
name and location of the institution/s level of qualification/s official transcript from the secondary and/or tertiary institution number of contact hours per week in English number of years of study Here are some Dot points we are looking for in a Telecommunications Rigger; What is their experience in telecommunications rigging, time in the industry?, are they Construction Riggers or Telecommunication riggers? Must be Telecommunication riggers. Do they have experience in both working out of EWP's (Elevating Work Platform) and climbing structures? Type of vendor equipment they have installed, Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei etc? Have they had formal work at heights, tower rescue and EWP training? Are they familiar with Hybrid feeder cables and associated installation practices?
